About CEFA

The Community Education Facilitators' Association CEFA was established in March 2004 at an inaugural meeting in Galway as a professional representative association for Community Education Facilitators (CEFs). This meeting approved the outcomes of a working group of CEF's set up the previous November, ratified the proposed Constitution and elected an Executive Committee. At the end of the organisation's first two years in existence, the strategic plan and constitution were published. The development of this website was a direct result of some of the actions contained in the Strategic Plan.
