Making our voices heard

This guide has been produced as part of the European Anti Poverty Network
(EAPN) Ireland’s Focus on Poverty in Ireland project, which is designed to:
“Raise awareness of poverty among the general public and make the eradication
of poverty an issue of greater public and political concern.”
“Promote understanding and involvement in the social inclusion process and NAP
Inclusion among people experiencing poverty and the local NGOs working with
them.”
This guide is designed for people and organisations with little or no experience in
publicity work, to give a basic grounding in how the media works, and how you can
best interact with it.
