ICT & INTERNET USAGE POLICY
The Adult Education Service can "level the playing field" by providing its learners with access to this valuable information resource. This provision represents a considerable commitment of public resources in the areas of telecommunications, ICT equipment, software, storage and labour costs. In order to maximise the return on investment, a policy on use of these resources has been formulated, in consultation with representatives of all potential users. The policy is in compliance with proposals in Learning for Life- White Paper on Adult Education (2000; 4.6).
